Faces of Ortaköy.

Today’s a popular day to be in Ortaköy.
Day-trippers are flocking to the waterfront.
Outnumbered, the locals have made a hasty retreat to the fishmonger’s. Better let the tide ebb away.

Only one thing is for sure: tomorrow, they’ll all be gone. Only Artichoke Man will remain.

Isn’t it so much nicer to hang with the locals rather than other tourists. I’m in Bali now (visiting my sister) and am loving experiencing a local neighborhood. Great photos, as always.

More nice street photos. I wonder what the vendors do to keep all those wares fresh in the summer months?
